About the Coffee is a simple journal built around independent coffee shops and the places we discover along the way.

We travel, spend time outside, find good coffee, and learn about the people and process behind it. Sometimes the coffee is the destination. Sometimes it's just the beginning.

After seeing coffee grown in the countryside of the Dominican Republic, we came home with a deeper appreciation for the journey from plant to cup. This is a place to keep exploring that story.
