And so it begins. Back to where it all started—the trip that launched this journey for two coffee lovers. We returned to one of our favorite destinations, Burlington, Vermont, a city where coffee shops feel woven into the atmosphere. Our first stop in the About the Coffee log: Vivid Coffee.

Even in the middle of a very busy shop, Vivid didn’t spare the details. Our drinks were built around a delicious, well-balanced espresso pull that left us both impressed. An abundance of brewing equipment, coffee gear, and Vivid swag reinforced the feeling that this wasn’t simply a café—it felt like a place serious about the craft and the baristas behind it.
Quick in. Good coffee. Keep moving.
Vivid worked well as a quick in-and-out stop and felt like a good place to get some work done. For us, it wasn’t quite the slower, unwind-and-stay-awhile atmosphere we were looking for.

Vivid breathes in the hustle and bustle of Burlington while somehow balancing out the commotion—a coffee shop that feels connected to the energy of the city without being overwhelmed by it.
